What are your hours?

We are open from 8 am – 7 pm Monday – Friday and 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

What services do you provide?

We provide various services, such as blood testing, dentistry, desexing, emergency pet care, health check & vaccinations, pet house calls, laser therapy, nurse consults, preventative care, puppy & kitten care, radiography, retail hub, surgery, ultrasound, and visiting pet specialists.

Should I desex?

Desexing has many benefits. It reduces the incidence of hormone-based tumors and stops unwanted litters and illnesses such as Pyometra. Desexing can be performed from 6 months old but may be delayed in certain breeds or if there is illness or disease present. Give us a call, or book an appointment with one of our nurse teams to discuss the specifics of your pet.

Should I vaccinate?

We also recommend vaccination as we believe prevention is better than having to cure. We understand that there is a lot of information out there about the pros and cons of vaccination and preventative care, so we encourage you to chat to us about your concerns. Kennel cough and Leptospirosis are a risk in this area, so these vaccines are highly recommended alongside the core vaccines. You can find more information here on the website, or call our staff for advice.

What type of pets do you see?

We provide veterinary services to cats and dogs. We also see rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds for general health checks

Repeat prescription policy
The Australian Veterinary Association and The NSW Vet board have strict policies about providing ongoing medications without a consult to ensure the medications are causing no harm. We understand that this can be frustrating, but it is in your pet’s best interest to ensure they are getting the correct medications and care they need. Generally, rechecks are required every 6 months for ongoing problems.
Dental care—what do we recommend?

Dental care is so important in pets, as they do not brush their teeth, floss, or use mouthwash. We always recommend brushing your pet’s teeth at home, but we understand that most pets do not appreciate this! We can offer advice on some alternatives that are a little easier for you and your pet!

A dental health check with our team is free, and we can then advise you from there. Usually, a dental cleaning under general anesthesia is recommended every 12-18 months, depending on your pet’s dentition and breed. This will not only stop bad breath but help keep your pet’s teeth strong and healthy.
