Dr. Nima Rahmani
Senior Veterinarian
Dr. Nima is our Head Vet and has been with Ramsgate Vet since day one and has been practicing as a vet since 2004. He’s had a passion for medicine from a very young age, and with the love he had for animals, it wasn’t hard for him to choose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. During his career, he has had the opportunity to work in rural NSW and Victoria, which gifted him a wealth of professional and personal knowledge.
Throughout his career, he has gained valuable experience in many areas of veterinary medicine, including complex medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, and emergency and critical care.
Dr. Nima also enjoys teaching and mentoring young vets and vet nurses, inspiring them to practice the highest level of medical standards.
During his spare time, Dr. Nima enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, running, cycling, being in nature, and traveling.
When he gets time for a coffee break, he tries to spend them with Beth, the one-eyed cat he rescued a couple of years ago and homed at the clinic.
