I first a attended this Vet when we noticed our Cavalier was having issues with her mobility. The vets and nurses were incredibly supportive and attentive to our little girl. The care and compassion they provided to treat her was exceptional. I found my little girl to be very comfortable and quite spoiled here by the beautiful staff who work here. They explained very clearly what was going on with her, the treatment required, the pros and cons and how best to manage her condition going forward. I feel very lucky to have found Ramsgate Vet Hospital and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
I took a stray injured cat there this morning and they treated both me and the cat with such care, kindness and compassion. They weren’t able to save the kitten but gave me reassurance I had done the right thing. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and so helpful. I have pets of my own and will very much be taking them to this vet moving forward after today’s interaction. They made a difficult moment much easier to deal with.
The team are friendly, professional and competent. My puppy has visited twice and loves the vets as he gets treats, cuddles and lots of scratches. They prioritise care in a safe and friendly environment for the animals. The reception team are efficient, proactive and super friendly. Everyone here loves animals and it shows.
This was our first time attending here after moving into the area. We were finding our existing “chain-owned” vet practice too impersonal / not responsive / hard to get info from etc so wanted to try something new. We were relieved to find a vet practice that still has that personal/caring/human feel. Greeted by a lovely receptionist and given practical/pragmatic and objective advice by the fantastic vet (eg no sales tactics of us buying vet products from associated companies, like some of the vet chains). Highly recommend!
I wanted to thank Jess, Gabby and the team at Ramsgate Vet for their outstanding care. Jess is such a kind and caring person who went above and beyond to help us and our 2 cats. I will never forget the kindness and compassion we were shown, I am truly thankful
The staff - nurses and vets - at Ramsgate Vet are more than 5 stars! They have shown again an excellent level of care for both myself and my cat Chino. The clinic is beautiful and immaculately clean and the staff is extremely professional. I can't recommend them enough!
We can't thank the team at Ramsgate enough for everything they did for our dog Biscuit during his TPLO surgery and recovery.
From the very first consultation right through to the surgery, every single person we dealt with was caring and incredibly helpful. We'd been told by other vets that sedation would be required to diagnose Biscuits injury, so it was a huge relief that the Ramsgate team could assess him properly and diagnose the injury without sedation. They took the time to clearly explain the injury, the surgery, what to expect afterwards, and answered every question we had.
The day of the surgery was stressful for us, but the team made it so much easier. They explained the whole process before we left Biscuit in their care and kept us updated throughout the day. We received calls letting us know when the surgery was about to begin, when it had finished, and how Biscuit was doing afterwards. Those updates meant a lot and gave us real peace of mind during what was a very worrying day.
When we collected Biscuit, the team carefully went through everything we needed to know for his recovery. They made sure we felt comfortable and confident about caring for him at home and never made us feel rushed. Since then, all of his follow-up appointments have gone smoothly, and he has been improving day by day.
A huge thank you to everyone at Ramsgate for taking such great care of Biscuit. It's obvious how much you all genuinely care about the animals you treat, and we're incredibly grateful for the support and expertise you've shown throughout the whole process 🙂
Nice people and park in the rear car park
I have recently moved to the area and needed to take my reactive little chihuahua to a new vet. RVH has been the first Vet we've gone to that's pointed out my little dogs heart problems. This team are all angels sent from heaven, I can't thank them enough for treating my boy with urgency and truly going above and beyond. After receiving quite confronting news regarding my dog during my first visit to RVH, these angels have shown nothing but kindness, empathy and compassion to my dog and I. My dogs primary care team has been Nurse Jess and Dr Marnie with v special mention to Dr Tiffany <3
It’s always a pleasure to visit this vet clinic. The vets, and reception people are always very polite and friendly. The clinic is always spotless.
Excellent Service by Gabby who warmly greeted and helped with everything required. Really professional, kind and loving service. I highly recommend this vet clinic ! 🐈 …
Ramsgate Veterinary Hospital has been my regular vet for my two cats, and I cannot recommend them enough! My cat was recently diagnosed with entropion and received surgery at this clinic, and it was such a relief to get a solution to her issue that multiple other vets did not realise. Dr Kumaran was very attentive, thorough and knowledgeable in his diagnosis and follow up appointments, and Dr Nima performed the surgery beautifully with no complications after, and the medicine they prescribed worked fabulously to aid a smooth recovery. The staff and nurses are lovely and helpful, and my experience with them for this surgery and for my other cats neutering surgery has been wonderful. Very thankful to the whole team at Ramsgate veterinary hospital 🤗
