We recently moved to the St. George area and have been on a five-year quest to find a vet where our anxious German Shepherd, Mia, feels comfortable. Every vet visit was a stressful experience for all of us – Mia would pull on her leash and try to bolt out the door. That all changed at Ramsgate Vet. Jess, the receptionist, went above and beyond to make Mia feel relaxed and welcome. Her warm interactions with Mia, combined with the excellent consultation by Tiffany, the vet on duty, made a world of difference. For the first time in a long time, Mia was able to stay calmly in the foyer, on a loose leash! Thank you, Jess, for making our usually anxious girl feel relaxed and at ease. Your kindness and professionalism are greatly appreciated. We can't recommend Ramsgate Vet highly enough to anyone looking for an exceptional veterinary experience. We can't thank the team at Ramsgate enough for everything they did for our dog Biscuit during his TPLO surgery and recovery.
From the very first consultation right through to the surgery, every single person we dealt with was caring and incredibly helpful. We'd been told by other vets that sedation would be required to diagnose Biscuits injury, so it was a huge relief that the Ramsgate team could assess him properly and diagnose the injury without sedation. They took the time to clearly explain the injury, the surgery, what to expect afterwards, and answered every question we had.
The day of the surgery was stressful for us, but the team made it so much easier. They explained the whole process before we left Biscuit in their care and kept us updated throughout the day. We received calls letting us know when the surgery was about to begin, when it had finished, and how Biscuit was doing afterwards. Those updates meant a lot and gave us real peace of mind during what was a very worrying day.
When we collected Biscuit, the team carefully went through everything we needed to know for his recovery. They made sure we felt comfortable and confident about caring for him at home and never made us feel rushed. Since then, all of his follow-up appointments have gone smoothly, and he has been improving day by day.
A huge thank you to everyone at Ramsgate for taking such great care of Biscuit. It's obvious how much you all genuinely care about the animals you treat, and we're incredibly grateful for the support and expertise you've shown throughout the whole process 🙂
1st time here. Awesome! Jess nurse and Tiffany vet are very professional. .easy to talk to. Spacious and clean. It's close to us. Loads of parking at the back. Huge carpark. Used to go Bennys but he gone.

I first a attended this Vet when we noticed our Cavalier was having issues with her mobility. The vets and nurses were incredibly supportive and attentive to our little girl. The care and compassion they provided to treat her was exceptional. I found my little girl to be very comfortable and quite spoiled here by the beautiful staff who work here. They explained very clearly what was going on with her, the treatment required, the pros and cons and how best to manage her condition going forward. I feel very lucky to have found Ramsgate Vet Hospital and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
The best vets Clarence and the team helped my boots with treatment and tried to keep him alive. Later helped me to cope when he was put down he was 18. Beautiful people so caring and lovely. Even gave me wine for xmas
Amazing staff and practice. They’ve looked after our two dogs continuously over the last few months. I think my dogs are local celebrities down there at the moment. The staff are super friendly and we’re so lucky to have them just at the end of our road. Thank you Ramsgate Vet ☺️
It’s always a pleasure to visit this vet clinic. The vets, and reception people are always very polite and friendly. The clinic is always spotless.
