There's no need to travel to Kogarah or beyond for quality care — our clinic handles everything from routine preventative appointments through to complex surgical procedures and advanced diagnostics. We're open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 8pm, Saturdays from 10am to 4pm, and offer emergency consultations on Sundays from 10am to 12pm.

Behind every consultation at Ramsgate Vet is a team of six experienced veterinarians with a broad range of clinical expertise. Dr Nima Rahmani has been practising since 2004 and leads the team with particular strength in complex medicine, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, and emergency care. Dr Clarence Ng holds a Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Ultrasound from the University of Melbourne and has specialist interests in radiology and oncology. Dr Marnie Flick brings a background in equine sports medicine and published research in biomarkers. Whatever your pet's needs, there's a vet on our team who has seen it before.
Comprehensive care under one roof
Monterey pet owners have access to the full spectrum of veterinary services at Ramsgate Vet — including in-house blood testing with same-day results, dental care under anaesthesia, pet laser therapy for pain and inflammation, orthopaedic surgery for joint and bone conditions, X-rays and ultrasound, and visiting specialist consultations for complex cases. Our cat-exclusive cattery, located above the main clinic and supervised by veterinary staff, also offers safe and calm boarding when you travel.

First time to this vet. From the friendly call to having an available appointment I was greeted at the practice by the vet nurse Tahlia. Dr Tiffany so lovely and attentive . Really felt at ease with her and caring disposition for my pug. I will be back in September. Well priced and the decor of the clinic is spacious.
I took a stray injured cat there this morning and they treated both me and the cat with such care, kindness and compassion. They weren’t able to save the kitten but gave me reassurance I had done the right thing. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and so helpful. I have pets of my own and will very much be taking them to this vet moving forward after today’s interaction. They made a difficult moment much easier to deal with.

I would recommend this vet to anyone looking for a place to take your pet your pet would be well taken care of. The staff are helpful and friendly. They also have a clinic in Surry Hills. They are helpful in every way they can be. My dog went for surgery and he was treated with care. They are in contact with you letting you know each step of the way. The facilities are clean and inviting. If you are looking to take your pet somewhere I would highly recommend Ramsgate veterinary hospital.
We recently moved to the St. George area and have been on a five-year quest to find a vet where our anxious German Shepherd, Mia, feels comfortable. Every vet visit was a stressful experience for all of us – Mia would pull on her leash and try to bolt out the door. That all changed at Ramsgate Vet. Jess, the receptionist, went above and beyond to make Mia feel relaxed and welcome. Her warm interactions with Mia, combined with the excellent consultation by Tiffany, the vet on duty, made a world of difference. For the first time in a long time, Mia was able to stay calmly in the foyer, on a loose leash! Thank you, Jess, for making our usually anxious girl feel relaxed and at ease. Your kindness and professionalism are greatly appreciated. We can't recommend Ramsgate Vet highly enough to anyone looking for an exceptional veterinary experience. Thank you to Dr Clarence for everything you’ve done for Cali. Thank you for making the time to see him when no one else would. I was getting married on Saturday when I noticed something seriously wrong with our puppy Cali. I called numerous clinics and no one would take him on short notice. Dr Clarence and Jess when out of their way and instantly agreed to see him. They looked after him while I had my wedding while giving me constant updates during the day. Amazing clinic with amazing people! Thank you so much. Forever grateful to them as Cali is now home with us and in high spirits again.

I first a attended this Vet when we noticed our Cavalier was having issues with her mobility. The vets and nurses were incredibly supportive and attentive to our little girl. The care and compassion they provided to treat her was exceptional. I found my little girl to be very comfortable and quite spoiled here by the beautiful staff who work here. They explained very clearly what was going on with her, the treatment required, the pros and cons and how best to manage her condition going forward. I feel very lucky to have found Ramsgate Vet Hospital and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
